Stacy Franklin - Staff Coach
I grew up in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and began playing soccer at age 4.
My family was dedicated to soccer as we traveled all over the country
(Arizona,
Texas, Colorado, Missouri,
South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and D.C.) playing in elite soccer
tournaments with my club. I was
fortunate to earn a scholarship to play Division I for Mercer University under Coach Paul Harbin (UAB
women’s coach). I met my
husband, Jon, at Mercer and he brought me to Alabama. I taught for 9 years, but recently
decided to stay at home with my daughter, Emily and son, Brooks.
PHILOSOPHY:
My approach is to teach players lessons for
the field that they should also apply in life.
