Eddie Katamba  - Staff Coach

Former Ugandan National team standout, Eddie Katamba. Respected by his alumni and peers from UAH as on of the top players to have ever graced the Charger Blue uniforms, Eddie was an outstanding player on an outstanding team during the 4 year period he played for UAH. He now continues his career there as assistant coach to the very successful UAH Women's program. We are very pleased to have Eddie sharing his knowledge and skills with the kids of the community. He coached our U17 Boys, Kicks '88 squad in the Fall of 04, and also coached the Kicks 96 Red U9 Boys, Governor's Cup Finalists, top division.

This spring Eddie has taken over the Kicks 92 Boys, and will coach them in the Fall along with the Kicks 97 Black U9 Boys team.

Coaching Achievements

• Kicks 96 Red - TNFC Fall Classic U9 Boys Champions (Top Division)

• Kicks 96 Red - Kicks Invitational Champions - U9 Boys

• Kicks 96 Red - Governor's Cup Finalists - Gold Division

• Played home in Uganda on one of the biggest youth clubs.

• Captained the U17 national team in my country

• Played on the U23 national team in my country

• Played four years at U.A.H (University of Alabama in Huntsville)

• I was named on the G.S.C (Gulf soccer conference first team for four years)

• I was also named on all region first team for two years

• I coached the U9 team in Madison

• I worked on the soccer camps at U.A.H three summers in a row.

• I also assisted on the summer soccer camps in Decatur high school

• Worked as an assistant coach for the men’s program at U.A.H for two years

• Assistant coach for the Women’s program at U.A.H last season (2003).

• Assistant coach for the women’s team at U.A.H
