Coach Uwe grew up in Germany, were he started playing soccer at the age of 6 years. At age 15 his club team was crowned the U-16 Northern German champions. After his youth soccer he played for 2 more years on a high level adult team. At age 20 he joined the military and played on the regional military select team. During his military time he was stationed in Huntsville for 10 month and eventually ended up moving to town in 1990.

Uwe started coaching in 1991. Since then he coached at every age level, from U-8 to U-18, Boys and Girls. In 2003 Coach Uwe achieved the highest USSF soccer license. Coach Uwe is a big believer in developing soccer skills and fundaments instead of winning championships just because of physical ability.

Soccer Experience:
Played competitive youth soccer from the age of 6 -18 in Germany.
Played competitive adult soccer from the age of 18 - 20 in Germany.
Played on the region Military select team from 1983 - 1989 in Germany.
Played Premiership soccer from the 1992 – 2003 in Huntsville, AL
