High School Prep (DI/DII) (ages 14 to 18 for girls and boys) - The players in this group are more ambitious regarding their current/future high school careers rather than post high school soccer endeavors. The goal is to provide a competitive environment where players are prepared technically, tactically, physically and psychologically for High School play. Although the number of training sessions and games may be fewer than the upper Division I teams, the level of intensity and quality will be similar to their more competitive counterparts.

The division of play will be discussed during the tryout process.  Directors will provide input as well gauge the interest of both parents and players to determine which state league is most appropriate.  The intent of these teams is to offer a reduced commitment of time, travel, and expense but still allow the players to develop in a professional environment. HFC would like to foster a more relaxed team structure and provide a training/game season that will reinforce the foundation for a high school bound player.  In the past, roster sizes have been large enough to allow players to miss a training session or game here and there to accommodate a busy high school curriculum or even sometimes a social calendar.

There will be no required team camp for this group.  For details on the optional camp being provided – please visit our camps page.

2009 Results:  HFC had both girls teams make it to the final four of Division II State Cup and the White team won the State Championship!
