HFC - Kicks Invitational 2009

Dear Tournament Participants-

On behalf of Huntsville Futbol Club I would like to say thank you for choosing our 17th Annual Kicks Invitational on October 23- 25, 2009. We are looking forward to a fun, spirited weekend of competitive matches. We are doing everything possible to schedule games with the fewest conflicts for coaches with multiple teams and to provide the best brackets to offer evenly matched games. Please log-in to Soccer Scheduler and verify that all your team information is correct. If you have not entered your team roster, please do so by October 21 to help expedite the check-in process. Scores may be sent to cell phones during the tournament—just click Get Scores under Schedule and Results.

Schedules should be posted by October 17. Brackets and schedules may be viewed online. Please note that tournament check-in is at Soccer Central in Merrimack Complex on Thursday, October 22, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, October 23, from 5-9 p.m . Out-of-town teams that are playing late morning or afternoon games and have difficulty getting to Thursday or Friday’s check-in must contact the Tournament Director in advance for approval to check in one and one half hours before their first game on Saturday.

Required for Check-In:

5 copies of your state approved roster OR US Club Soccer or USSF affiliated league approved roster.
Rosters must include jersey numbers.
Player cards for each rostered player and guest player as well as cards for coach and manager. Each card must be signed and laminated and have player’s current picture.
Notarized medical release forms for each player and guest player.
Completed Emergency Contact Form
“Permission to Travel” form for each out of state team.

Important Information to Know:

Tournament gear is available as pre-order this year & On site.
Hotel information is on the website. All listed hotels are within ten miles of the Merrimack

Other Information--Please pass on to your parents!

Parking for the weekend will cost $5 per vehicle. Parking pass is valid for all tournament venues.
Parking passes will be available to purchase at Thursday and Friday check-ins for $4 each.
Some overflow parking exists in the parking lot directly north of the soccer complex outside the fence.
No parking allowed along curb or where cones are present.
Traffic flow at Merrimack is one-way during the tournament weekend. Please enter through the SOUTH entrance and exit through the NORTH exit.
